Looking at the driver's seat, and seeing how the car hit a pole square on the driver's side, I don't see how the driver got out without serious injuries. I'd like to know the whole story as I drive a TR as a daily driver. Good to know how safe, or not, they can be! This poor car is toast.

Damn....it certainly looks nasty. Noticed how the top portion of the steering wheel snapped off? Wonder if it broke during the crash or was cut during the rescue. Hope the driver came out alive.

In any case, looks like the car has many salvageable mechnical parts, esp. the engine. That engine alone should be worth at least $20K. Even all 4 wheels look OK.

It appears to have lost control, spun out and hit a pole square in the left door. One of the pictures shows how the car struck the pole.

Remember when Fiorruci Lamborghini said to Enzo Ferrari, there is something wrong with your cars driving? Enzo replied NO. there is some thing wrong with the way you drive!

IT did not lose control....Somebody lost control

I must say my first thought was "are all four wheels OK??? I could use those..." My second thought was in response to where it says "The interior, evan (sic) after the accident still smells new." and I just have to wonder about the driver's seat....

All kidding aside I hope the driver is OK.

    Cheers

    "That's not a car wreck, that's a coffin."

That is one of the most clear, truthfull, descriptions I have heard in a long time.

clean cuts like that usually indicate a body was removed from the car. but...

the pole may have hit more towards the left mirror area and maybe the driver got out ok, but the jaws or life damage and the clean cut steering wheel are not good signs , as they imply the driver was seriously injured. its all conjecture and opinion at this point. we really dont know what happened, i just hope they got out ok.

Well it's a pity see our beloved ferraris in that state and I wish that the owners or drivers of these cars escaped unharmed.

I have done more than my share of trauma surgery in my day and a lateral impact MVA like this is by far the wost as far as transfering energy to the driver. It satistically confers the highest rate of severe injuries. Given the amount of metal moved on the drivers side, I would be very concerned for the driver. I too hope things did not turn out too badly.

I was bidding on this car for parts but they wanted too much $

It certainly did look like a nasty wreck, I think the roof damage was done getting the driver out though

I seen a few cars that hit polls before, this car looks pretty striaght dont you think? seriously, normally the car is rapped around the poll,or at least bent a little, this car looks to be deap striaght with only a dead where the poll hit the car!

    What do you think?
