    I'm assuming this perforated piece of leather is covering a speaker, but whatever its purpose is, I have noticed that it's started "wrinkling"/coming loose.

    Has this happened to anybody else? What did you do to correct it? Or did you just leave it?

    I would have to look at mine but I don't think that's a speaker.....It's meant to match the leather forward the steering wheel (to the left of the pic).....I think....the speaker is at the top of your pic...I think....maybe not difficult to take that piece out and tighten up the leather...

    It's not a speaker, just a piece of leather stuck on the dash. It happens over time, especially if you live in very sunny areas and you dont use a sun shade. You can pull the trim piece out and stick it back with spray on glue.
