    Looking to Purchase 02-03 Murcielago

Ideal car will be the following:
low miles (under 8k), no history car, in good condition (does not have to be perfect), black leather interior.
Prefer Pearl Orange but will consider other colors (red, blue, possibly pearl yellow)

Car must be inspected by Lambo OC.

Don't decide before you see the red exterior in person.

Orange is a very tough color to get in those years. My advice is to pay more attention to the mechanical condition of the car then the color. Sometimes one needs to compromise on color when looking for the most sought after years of a particular model car (i.e. IMHO the 02 and 03 Murcies are the best buy for your dollar of any exotic on the market at this time).

The important thing (regardless of color) is you'll be driving the best looking, best performing Lambo on the road (with the exception of, but not by much, the LP640) :)

Oh my this is a very aggressive cabin! A little strong for me ;)

Strange, when I had my first Sports car, I wanted to be seen, it has to be bright & loud. A few cars later, I get very mellowed & find those orange, yellow & red simply attract too much attention especially when it's a Lambo.

    Hope I'm not getting old!

Good luck in your search. Yellow & black seems to be the official colors of the bull but it does take on many other colours equally well.

your not the only one. I've found that while the understated colored cars tone down the peripheral responses many hear and know by the shear geometry of the shape that something is....unique.

Exactly the way I feel and why I went with Titanium on my Murcie.

The color comes across with subdued elegance; the car is enough of a statement in and of itself, it doesn't need a loud color to rub it in :)

Hey Thomas, looks like we share the same taste! I've just made an offer for a yr 05 titanium Murcie yesterday evening with roadster wheels, black/red cabin, tinted windows, Larini exhaust & 6speed. Very similar to yours. The V12 sound is surreal & it won't attract too much attention I hope. They'll hear it but by the time I passed by they'll realise this is it & won't see me. That is if my offer is accepted :D

Black is too dark IMO but it scares me when one comes up in my mirror fast with lights on & vents up.

Changed my parameters, I want a clean 02/03 Murci, color is flexible (Titanium, yellow, red, blue, practically most colors, except black) must be reasonably priced, sub 8k miles, blk interior. .

Prefer it to be a Socal car so I can get it checked out via LOC.

This one might fit in your parameters.... '03, 4k miles, yellow w/ black interior. The only down side is that it's not really close to So. Cal... at all.

Sounds like a great car. The Larini exhaust ended up on my short list (one of two); IMO it's the only other exhaust I heard besides the MS Stage II that captures the true F1 sound.

Good luck with the purchase :)
