At some point before I purchased my 348 someone broke some of the tabs that retain the vertical slats in the right hand side dash vent, so they just removed those slats. On top of that, they broke one of the tabs that retain the vent itself. I'm trying to devote my spare cash to repairing more critical items, but I hate the idea of reinstalling that broken vent. So if anyone here has a right side vent that's fully intact that they'd part with for less than an appendage, please let me know. I don't even mind sticky if the price is right. :)

    Thanks!

I'm in the market for one too, they are currently on backorder from Ferrari it seems and I couldn't find any used and not for lack of trying... Best of luck with your search!

Ouch. Not what I was hoping to hear, but thanks for the info nonetheless. Guess I need to start trying to patch the old one up as best I can and hope a decent replacement becomes available at some point.

Good luck to you as well, and thanks again.

    Hi Mike,

I happen to have one quite good vent grill (the other one is same as yours). About two years ago I was able to buy all three new dash vents from Eurospares.

The grill had only one half of one of the six slat clips broken but I managed to repair it by drilling a 1 mm hole and inserting (epoxy) a "hook" made of s/s wire (see pic). So, it is now fully functional.

You can fairly easily remove the grill. First push the right side of the grill from the back outwards until its edge is flush with the housing (see pic). Then, while pushing on the left side of the grill inwards, spread the plastic sides with a thin screwdriver until the two grill pins come out of the holes and then just push the left grill side inwards to get ti out. "The installation is reverse..."

Let me know if you are interested. The registered air mail would be $10 (Malaysia to USA) and you can have the grill for $20 (total $30).

Pulled the left side and found it to be in worse shape than the right, although at least the moveable slats were still hanging in place (barely). Going to try to repair both sides thanks to help and ideas from m.stojanovic, but if anyone happens to have either side vent for sale please let me know.
