Not sure if vendors check these model specific forums but, does anyone have the Brembo GT kit available that can be delivered in three weeks? Vivid has a 10-12 week lead time from Brembo and that’s too long. Looking for kit number #1M1.9008A5 380mm discs, yellow calipers, cross drilled rotors for an ‘06 F430 non ccm car. TIA

Not sure where you are located but for me on the US East Cost, these arrive in 5-15 days.

Thank you. I called buy brakes before I made this post. They didn’t answer. I’m finding most places sell kits but drop ship them from an importer or something. Thats why I made the post looking for a vendor to roger up and say they have a set in stock ready to ship.

Most places will never stock high dollar items like this. They rely on either central warehouses from mass distributors like Turn 14 or just drop ship from the factory. Very rare you find a shop that will hold inventory on something like this. Unfortunately, their website language usually assumes the main warehouse can get this out quickly or has it in stock. I've been burned plenty of times by the "in stock" language. Always best to call.

You’re right about that Joe. I’ve called three places and got the same lead time. Thing that sucks is with a 10-12 week lead time, I come home from work abroad, I’ll be home for 7 weeks then I come back to work and won’t be home until 1 Jun. I won’t get my parts for 6 months. This neat little upgrade I’m wanting to do really has been a pita to acquire parts for. Clearly, something is telling me not to do it. lol

Or just order them 10 weeks before you get back home. Gives you a summer project.

Have you tried reaching out to a recycler like Ferr Parts in Sacramento? They part out a lot of F430's and would likely have a few sets of OEM carbon brakes. Maybe get a dinged up set at a discount since you'll likely want to put new pistons in them and maybe a fresh coat of paint?

I did talk to Doug at Ferr parts. All they have is one LH caliper. But Eurospares has a new RH caliper so I’m reaching out to Harry to see if it’s still available.

There’s a LH and RH on ebay as well for around $2k each but you can always make an offer. Two different sellers and one is red and one is yellow.

I’ve seen those but they are for a Scud, both of them, I was told by Exotic recyclers they don’t work for std 430’s.

Scud uses 398 mm front rotors, the F430 uses 380 mm. Must be more room under the Scud's 8" front wheels.

Race technologies is who three of the vendors get their stock from. They are the ones reporting the 10-12 week timeline.

I found a RH caliper from Eurospares that I bought and Ferrparts has a used LH caliper that I’ll buy on Monday when they open. A forum member has reached out and I’ll be getting girodiscs, pads, brake lines, and fluid from him.
