Wanted WTB GT4 US Bumpers

You're not going to keep those big bumpers?!? I love those on your car! I am not sure a US bumper would really fix anything. Each bumper is really three pieces - one bumper and two side shields that cover the body cuts. If you get the full set, I believe that means you would have to drill holes to fit those side pieces, thus altering your car. Otherwise it does not look so hot...

You should run those big bumpers for a while and see if you get used to them. I think they have character.

noooo! those are the super rare early US bumpers! There are probably less than 10 cars left with them. Besides the chicks love them!

those bumpers should be against the law, they would accelerate the car you impact exponetially lol

 

I have s/n #10314 ('75 Series I) and it has the "picnic-table" bumpers too. Although, I bought another bumper like the ones on your other GT4, as a replacement for mine - since they do look nicer.

I have watched the GT4 market very closely for the last 7 or 8 years and I have seen less than 10 with these bumpers. For a while Ferrari would change them out for free to the newer style, so most did that I assume. If you have the newer bumpers and like them better then put those on but keep the originals to go with the car if you ever sell it on. One day they will be highly sought after by those that value originality. one day, maybe not right now. They are a good conversation starter anyway. plus if you ever encounter a herd of cattle blocking the road you can just push right thru!
