    Posting this for a friend who is reworking a po (previous owner's) "improvements".

    Does anyone have any idea where the correct venturi's for a carb'ed 512BB could be found?
    I've already suggested Pierce manifolds and Inglese Induction.
    All helpful hints are much appreciated.

    Hi Scott-
    I was hoping you could assist me on another issue on the 512BB. It appears that someone has attempted to “improve” the Performance by retuning the Weber’s. Of course it doesn’t run very well, and so I’m trying to return it to the Factory Spec’s.

    What I am looking for is a set (12) of the Auxiliary Booster Venturi’s or Central Diffusers it is referred to in the shop manual.
    Spec. is 3.5mm.

    I believe they are the same for early 911 IDA 3cs, might scavenge some crappy old 911 carbs on ebay and use the parts from them

    I was unware you could get modded venturis possibly someone machined his oversize
