Most people don't run their Ferrari's in winter because of all the gritting salt on the roads will corrode any car, particularly one made of aluminum with all aluminum chassis and suspension. Lets face it these temperatures are certainly not typical in the UK that many regions are facing. It was -18 degree's in Surrey a few days ago and yesterday was the coldest of the year! My Ferrari's been in the garage now since October!

Sounds like you must have been quite heavy handed with those handles but all that's likely to have happened is that the cables have popped off inside the doors. Cables even if snapped aren't actually all that expensive its just a pain to get at since you need to take the door panel off (with care) which again isn't hard but it is time consuming if you've never done it before. Here is a detailed post about how to correct the problem (D-I-Y) but you need access to the vehicle (catch 22 now that you've gone and buggered up both sides, sigh... ).

You may have to call a breakdown service who should be able to use a piece of plastic down the window trick to gain access. The doors will still open from the inside but not from the outside (if the cables have popped). Failing that you may need to source a new glass which is the same part from both spider 360's and spider 430's. Used glass can come up for around £160-£200 and new inc vat around £320.

    Good luck.

thanks :(.. i had issues with the door lock few months ago which we resolved.. and now back to sqaure one but both doors :(

i unlocked then opened the handle and the window slightly came down so i stuck a hanger in there to try and open from inside but the inside handle did nothing apart from click the locks.. i think the passenger side one may work, i have called a breakdown service, lets see what they can do

Sounded like for the cold winters, one should have the garage heated (I think)?
