I have diagnosed the problem down to my Warm Up Regulator on the Mondial QV. I either need a new one, or have mine rebuilt(apparently, that can be done). If anyone has a website, or phone contact info for this part or service, it would be much appreciated. Or, if you happen to have a working WUR for a 308QV or Mondial, let me know.

    Regards,

    Doc

Remember, that is a stock Bosch part probably used on every BMW, VW and AUDI of the era. Look for a cross-reference before dropping big bucks.

Wey-all, according to Norwood in Dallas the WUR for F cars is different. I know the pressures are different than the BMW, Merc, and VW, so it makes sense that the WUR calibration is different too. According to GT Car parts, they can be rebuilt, so maybe I'll go that route. SpecialTauto has it, but it's pricey!

I had to replace mine last year on my '85 QV. It is unique to Ferrari...cost around $300 for a rebuilt unit.

i've been through the bosch part number books and there is no cross over for the WUR. ferrari did indeed use a specific one to the engine. it's a top-o-th'line model too. it has dual chambers for vaccum/boost and altitude. why it was spec'd for a NA motor is beyond me but works great for those like me who want boost and to keep the stock CIS in place. they are $$$ though, with out it your CIS won't work so it's a key part.
