Is anyone driving out from so cal to vegas for the penske ferrari masarati grand opening? I would be neat to get some exotics together for a drive out there. Maybe everyone is already there because of rampage?

Let me know, I want to drive out soon!

I know it's 'old school,' but somehow I don't think that Ferrari helps its image by having a showroom in a Vegas hotel. Not that they need my advice...

I think it's a great idea. Las Vegas is where you go to see what you never see. It will be an attraction for visitors where they will almost never see a Ferrari, it ties in to the glamour and excitement that Vegas wants to be about.

Don't get me wrong -- I like Vegas, in a 'guilty pleasure' sort of way. But glamour? Not in my book. It's still pure Velveeta to me, albeit on a silver plate. Ferrari is different-- there is a tradition. But hey, money talks. And of course there are many who buy a Ferrari for the 'bling' factor today.
