X-OST Maranello. Rumors are they were some sort of spin-off of former Tubi employees. A nice alternative Italian brand as they made superb sounding exhaust systems while keeping the Italian feel and look to their components. Very similar to what Tubi does today. Tubi and X-OST facilities were right across the street from each other and both were right across the street from Ferrari.

When did they go under? Any old stock left or connections to designers? Any have any X-OST merch left? I bought a 355 that came with an X-OST muffler and now I’m a fan. It appears my muffler is the “sport” version and I would like to know what could be done to turn it into a “race” version. Perhaps less packing/baffling.

These mufflers came on my 550 Maranello when I purchased it from a prior owner. They sound amazing and look great. Too bad these guys went under.

When I last contacted them in 2014 I used the details below (and they responded):

    Vilma
    X-ost Maranello s.r.l.
    Via Toscana 91-93
    41053 Maranello (MO) – Italy
    Tel. +39 0536 940075
    web : www.x-ost.com
    e-mail : [email protected] ; [email protected]

However if you try and access the website now it looks like a placeholder page is there.

If you put it in google maps it says "Temporarily closed" - all very strange??!!

Would love to know myself what happened???

As an aside you do wonder what is going to happen to all these exhaust manufacturers with the move over to electric. Very sad :-(

I did some diggin around and they are no longer at the location. It's a different business there now. You also have a slightly older address.

They made a pretty good sounding muffler for the 348 as well. What a shame.
