X-Post: Anyone in Palm Springs area who can check a set of heads for me?

    Not getting any traction in the Southern Cali section (post speed is slow like in most regional sections), and needing this fairly quickly, so cross-posting here.

    As the title says, I need someone in the Palm Springs area who can check a set of heads before someone grabs them for an eventual flip.
    I've potentially found a set of heads I need to replace mine that we've discovered were "improved" by a machine shop, and I'd appreciate if someone could verify their condition before I pull the trigger. The expected stuff - cracks, welding/repairs, etc. I'll pay you for your time.
