    So, I am predicting right now that these will be limited and will be another holiday hot item like the TMX Elmo's and Playstation 3 consoles. The 360 HD DVD player, a $200 HD dvd player, very cheap respectivley, people who will not be able to afford the PS3 will opt for this. Slated to release on November 7th, these are going to be more limited than the xbox 360 console's initial release.

    I dont think anyone is going to care.

    Not too many people buying HD-DVDs or Blueray at this point.

    Also 360 sales are doing horrible, the sales #s are worse than Xbox in 2001/2002.

    So I doubt there will be a shortage.
