A friend picked up a premium package xbox 360 and kept it in the box. Now he is looking to sell it. Is ebay still the best place to put it? I know some of you guys have sold them on there but with this product it seems like there may be a higher number of deadbeat buyers.

    Thanks

If you want to get your money back + a little extra then Ebay is probably the best bet.

Check and see if maybe his local area has a garage sale website. A local neighborhood around here (Kingwood for you Houston folks) has one with everything from Rolex watches to free computer desks.

Also I've seen them in the local papers and ads selling. I hate that people are doing this though because I want one but can't afford the prices they are asking I could just barely afford the original $400 I can understand why they would do it but.. :(

When you sell on eBay, a no cost option is to "Require immediate payment". This is what I did, and there is no hassle. Your auction does not "end" until someone has PAID for your item.

Craigslist, but your friend's SOL. If he gets more than $50 premium he should be happy.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll pass them along.

Iceburns, if you are interested in it I will PM you after I find out what he is asking for it.

You won't get much more than retail for it if any. Seems a bunch of stores are getting them on a daily basis now.

^ Yeah, my dad will (obviously, or else it wouldn't be much of a present ;)) be paying for it and he probably won't pay much of a premium considering he knows a store manager at Wal-Mart who has promised to call him when they get a new shipment in (I'm guessing by the new year)

    Plus he's a lawyer and a cheap-ass :p

Lol, my mum is a manager at a wal mart up in Ontario. And she's saying they have been getting them daily since Monday. (Obviously not today)
