Is 360 even out yet?

 

22nd........it should be fun..

 

From the specs I read it seems to be an amazing console. I plan on picking one up after the Christmas rush

Only bad thing I heard about it was the abnormally large power supply

Yes. I can't friggin wait for it. I hope to get one for Christmas. I can afford one now with what I've saved up, but I'm gonna hold off on it because it's a LOT of money for a teenager, and Christmas is only a month away. The wait will be unbearable though!

If you have an HDTV and broadband, it'll be amazing. Microsoft definitely has the best program for online gaming, Xbox Live, compared to the PS2's Sony Online or whatever they call it. XBL is a serious piece of kit, it's awesome and flawless. I'm getting that sometime after Christmas. All games are required to support HD too.

There are also a lot of great games coming out. Especially PGR3- Project Gotham Racing. It's got the F50GT (I see you like that car ) and other highlight Ferraris (Enzo, F50, F40, F430) and even the 288 Evoluzione! It's not a sim game, and you can't customize your cars, but man is it fun. PGR2 is by far the most-played console game of mine.

I think the PS3 will be better, hardware-wise, but it won't be in North America till spring 2007. Just like the last generation, but reversed. The PS2 came out a year before the Xbox, which was FAR superior, but look which one was more popular-the PS2. By the time the PS3 comes out, there may be more than 100 Xbox 360 games!

Also, don't worry about the "I want PS3 for the next GTA" stuff, because there will be GTA for the Xbox 360.

 

Exactly what was said before, it will be better, but you will wait a while for it. Hell, Im a game-nerd, i hate to admit but I am...so i may just end up getting both

 

The PS3 is slated to be released for NA in time for Holiday 2006.

 

I think the PS3 may cost too much for me! I'd go for both. Heck, I have both an Xbox and a PS2! But I hear the PS3 may run as much as 500 bucks

BTW, I'm a nerd myself, in fact, tonight I hit 5000 posts on a gaming forum

 

I tend to buy all the available consoles. At the moment the only next gen I have is a PSP but I plan to pick up a 360 as soon as I have the money and can locate one. Other than that I have a gamecube and xbox as well all my old consoles have been sold except for three.

I believe the suped up version is about 400 u.s., the non suped up version should be about 300 or so

 

I can safley say that like PGR2, I will be playing PGR3 non-stop for a couple of weeks after I get it and the XBox 360 for Christmas. It's the only game I'm asking for, because PGR2 is all I play on XBox now, and I, like last year probably won't play any other games I get, PGR is just that good.

 

I'm usually first in line to buy these new things (PSP, the 1st XBox and the PS2), but that's ridiculous. Seems like everyone's selling these core "bundles", too, for $600+ (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/catalog.gsp?cat=233481&path=0%3A2636%3A233481). Count me out. My current FX55 SLI system should run rings around it anyway.

The PS3 seems like it wille be a better deal and a better all around console.

How are you liking the PSP? I'm planning on getting one after the holiday rush.
When the PS3 comes out (in 2007 I believe) I plan on getting that also.

 

I have a PSP and used it pretty much on my flights. It just sits on a shelf now.

Im going to wait for the X-Box 360. It looks really sweet, but I will wait for the price to go down a little.

 

I guess if you want to sit on the couch and play games, then it's worth it.

I played Call of Duty for about 10 minutes... and it was pretty unreal. It still looked like a video game, but damn, its getting close to movie-esque.

For the most part, I'm not a BIG video game nut, I have an Xbox that mostly gathers dust...

but I might just have to get the 360... hooked up to my 65" HDTV? Forgetaboutit.

 

I'm most likely getting a 360 for Christmas. I want Call of Duty 2 and PRG3 then I'm good for awhile on games. I wish the 360 was black instead of white. Mabey I'll just color mine black or somthing... lol
