XFL is coming back in 2020

As long as the NFL has moronic rules like the catch rule, which seems to creep in and ruin the end of every game, they will continue to decline in ratings.

Oh, and moronic people in the NFL office who don't even know the rules themselves.

No I'm being serious. Like I said earlier, they said Baseball was dying. Now it's not. Things go in circles and they have tons of data on what's the reasons.

And I don't believe the kneeling thing is the big thing.

I'm a business person. I believe in market research.

 

The NFL is boring. Average passing yardage of 7? The reality is the defenses have gotten too good. Remember Earl taking a pitch on MNF and out running everybody? That’s fun football (unless you were a Miami fan). That run would never happen today, and doesn’t.

I'm with you on this. I didn't watch a single game in 2017 after 40 years of watching games. From an entertainment perspective.....the product is terrible.

 

And you think NFL owners are going to listen to market research when their franchise is a slot machine pouring out money?

Change will only come when the TV networks say, “Nah, I’m gonna pass.” And that is only going to happen when advertisers say, “Are you ****ting me?”

The thing that cracks me up about the NFL is that all the rules favour the offense, and all the rules are geared to jack the scoring up, but they still can't score LMAO
