Just picked up a 2008 612 with the bose system. It says no signal for XM even though I just paid for the subscription and had the signal sent. Since the Ferrari is totally new to me, has anyone else run across this and how did you resolve?

I did searches but didn't see the same problem

Your antenna cable could be broken. If you open your trunk you will see a black cable on the right hinge. That is your cable. Sometimes it gets pinched when you open and close your trunk. If it does then you will get “no signal” on XM. I had that problem.

I see you bought your car at Euro Car. They use Rocco’s to bird dog electronics problems and they are quite good. They know the 612 system. You can have Euro Car arrange an appointment and they will do it gratis since you just bought the car (I recently bought a Mercedes from them with an electronics issue and they had Rocco’s fix it). Or you can phone Joe at Rocco’s direct. 949 722 0707.

When my 2010 California first arrived i couldnt get XM to connect. Turns out it was because the units are ID'd as Chrysler and that red flagged my account as I told them it was a Ferrari. Took several calls to correct the problem
