I just got one of those also. I really like it! its nice heavy leather etc. Its pricey though about $90. For a basic key chain that seems high. I bought mine at the Ferrari Store in San Fran. But you can get them online as well.

    hope that helps

I want an OEM CF steering wheel but wife is balking at the price. Probably will get MA carbon to redo mine at first of year.

I bought it online. It was on sale for $200 at dell.ca. Do a search for "Thrustmaster Scuderia online". Not sure where you are located, but that brought up a shopbot.ca link with a comparison and the prices range from about $200 to $350.

It's wireless and runs on batteries, so it doesn't have force feedback, but otherwise, it seems to be very well built. Good solid metal F1 shifters, good on-centre feel from the steering wheel, and very good pedal feel. Even has a working mannetino that lights up.

Nothing beats logitech g25/27 steering wheel system. It has variable force feedback, a working clutch and six speed gearbox to go along with the f1 shifters in case you have a change of mind, unlike us in our real world f-cars where a change of heart takes more than a flick of a switch.

The scuderia rust master system is also cool coz it's a replica of the steering wheel and pedals. But once you've tried the logitech, you will not accept anything less.

Just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.

I've literally only used it for 5 minutes. I bought my PS3 for movies only and it is hooked up to the projection screen which I didn't want to use for games, but GT5 and this wheel were too cool to pass up, so I hooked the PS3 up to my son's gaming TV in the next room. That's where the wireless feature is nice for me. Fortunately, I thought ahead when we renovated and I ran an extra HDMI to that room. I tried it last night, but it took so long to do a PS3 update and then load the game that it was almost 2 am by the time I could play and I'm down with the flu right now.

In that 5 minutes though, I thought it was a great product...but I've never owned a gaming wheel before so I have nothing to compare it to. Having it all attached is nice, so you don't need a table to hook the steering wheel on. Grab a chair and go. The wheel telescopes up and down and the angle can move, so it should accomodate most people.

Same thing I've heard about the Logitech, but I really needed wireless and the appearance of this one is just icing on the cake. If you want a wheel for the perfect gaming experience, Logitech is likely the one to go with.

Can't argue about appearance. It looks good enough to make me think twice about swapping my Logitech for the Scud wheel just to be in an F-Car before bedtime. LOL.

Time to get yourself a Daytona seat to complete the experience. I have a racing frame setup at home complete with a 996 GT3 RS CF bucket seat and 5 point harness. Screen is a tad bit small at 24inches but it does the job when its less than a metre from my face. Just short of alcantara on the dash and door cards. My wife is frowning as I'm typing.

Boy I love Xmas. I asked my wife what she got for my 430 for Xmas. Needless to say, she frowned.

Installed the paddles this arvo. Wasn't as easy as I expected. Removing the screws that hold the steering column plates was easy peasy. Removing the screws that hold the left and rig paddle took a little skill as one of the screws ere screwed on so tightly I almost busted the head when attempting to yank it open. Took me 25 minutes to fit the paddles so I guess in comparison to some of the other work I've done to my other cars this wasn't too shabby.

The paddles are lovely, the reach is great. Looks fantastic! Only downside is that I now miss the cold sensation on the stock aluminum paddles. Sigh...can't have the best of both worlds can I....but wait! I already have! The carbonio paddles are highly recommended!
