I haven't any idea how BB&B ended up with Carrera slot car sets, but they have them, and they are a bargain in my book.

The set is quite extensive, and is 1/43 scale (slightly smaller than 1/32). They are priced @ $49.99, and with a 20 percent off coupon they may well offer you at the door, you've got a handsome set for 40 bucks.

The set has F1 cars (Ferrari & BMW I believe, TONS of track, several loops, etc.

The lady at the store in Amarillo said these things were selling like "hot cakes" so you might hurry. Best of luck.

I saw these today. If I had that scale, I would have bought 4 or 5 of them just for all the track.

Since when do F1 cars do a loop-da-loop or is this a simple hint of new FIA/Ecclestone track regulations to make the racing more interesting?
