XP Pro User Account Vanished...

    Um... Hello... Again...

    It seems like i'm in here every week with another computer problem...

    Here's the situation: XP Pro, two user accounts... This morning, only one showed up... Log in, go to Control Panel, User Accounts - aside from the guest account and some other "computer related, limited access, password protected" account, only one user is there...! Where did the other user go...? How did it vanish...? How do i get that user back...? It's got a bunch of settings situated with it that i'd prefer not to set up, from scratch, with the remaining user...

    could have been accidentally deleted. you might want to see what folders are still there from the user or other users on that system. right click on the start button, go to explore all users. you'll notice the layout of the folders for each user and administrator. does that user still exist? or did someone log into that machine as well, then delete the account along with their account?

    also, get that networking issue fixed yet? been slammed at work lately and some awfully long nights. hope to touch base again soon.
