I think no more than 1000 been printed and maybe i said bit much.
A complete original YB collection from 1949-1970 was posted for sale on the FML with only offers greater than 50k considered. Disclaimer: I have no vested interest.
There are a few sets of original, complete 1949-70 yearbooks on offer at present. Going rate is $50-60,000 USD depending upon condition. Highest recorded price for an original set at auction was approximately $85,000 at either a Maranello or Villa d'Este sale. For number of original surviving copies of the 1950 edition, please consult the late Dott. Franco Gozzi's book--a fascinating anecdote.
If anyone is interested in original 1960 yearbook or 1962 yearbook, I have both available in very nice condition, along with a few 1950s sales brochures. Inquire by PM.
Recently was sold to private collector F.Gozzi 1950s yearbook which was signed by Enzo and dedicated to Franco personally.very nice piece.
I have posted some of these photos before and they are always nice to share again. My collection goes back to 1952. Maybe oneday I be lucky enough to get the rest. In the 1974 yearbook, all of the yearbooks that came before were pictured. Hello Julius, I would try to pick up either of the last three when available. However, I could almost replace my 308 for the same amount.
Hello Custom, Wow! You really got deep into those old yearbooks. Thanks for pointing out those flaws. My 1955 does not have the double page like yours does (you may have the only one that wasn't caught). However, my 1954 does have the correction paper in the President Eisenhower story. Pretty cool to notice the cover of the 1967 yearbook from the 1957 book! Thanks! Here are two pictures that stood out for me. In the 1967 yearbook, (near the end of the book) there is a picture of a 275 GTB on the Philadelphia (my home town) Art Museum steps. Fifteen years before Rocky ran up those steps. And, in the 1966 yearbook is a copy of the Ferrari Club of America's Prancing Horse Newsletter (Nunber IX - May 1966) acknowledging the FCA. It is nice to share with others.
