I'm helping a buddy do a little leg work on this car. There is a Yellow 348 TB for sale on E-Bay with e-CarOne. 62,221 miles. I'll call and find out the last "major". Advertised at $26,950 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-348-TB-RARE-3-MANUAL-POWER-WINDOWS-MIRRORS-LOCKS-CD-PLAYER-/190763455808?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2c6a635540 I did a search under the "E-Bay" listings and did not see this one. Anyone have any history on this one? Cheers, Tom Just called to obtain information from the seller (e carone). Was told it was sold yesterday for $26,950
Pretty car! No idea what they go for, but seems like a good value. I love how the auto-ad. says the car pre-qualifies for a 5 yr./100K mile warranty . . . that'd be a worthwhile buy if it panned out. ;-)
That price was about right but I've seen some sell for a lot less. I hope most of the cars electronics sorted out, common issue with 89 to 92's.
Someone needs to educate them that a 348 is NOT is Modena. Does anyone else think this car looks way too clean to have 63000 miles on it?
For that price, it is tempting! But I wouldn't want to bite unless the records were straight. Also seeing some higher mileage 355's (30K+) well under the $60K mark.
Does anyone have an idea on how many 348tb's were imported? This looks a lot like the car that was here in St. Louis for many years, frequently parked outside on the residential street. Charles Schmitt had it listed for sale a few years back.
348 Modenas are very rare- only 1 I have ever heard of ( read ad ) FWIW, the paint and interor look mazing for sitting outside and 60000 miles on the ticker
What an awesome colour combination for the 348. As she's got miles, she's obviously been driven so hopefully isn't in too bad mechanical shape. At $27k, perhaps it's one to buy and then immediately do the major (since records are unknown) and a few refreshing updates? I'd be very tempted by this one if I was able to buy right now. All the best, Andrew.
