Anyone know this car? Seller has no history. I'm curious about it. Never seen one in yellow--was that even offered OEM? Ferrari 456 Base Coupe 2 Door | eBay
Looks brilliant in yellow, but I'm a sucker for yellow. My first Ferrari was a yellow 308. I was in love the moment I saw it.
+1! if the milage is correct and there are no needs for service or repair the price seems reasonable. very good looking in yellow!
Interesting, I owned a Yellow 458 Auto. From the pics I thought this was my car until I read 6-Speed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
wow, that's what, the 3rd manual that's come up for sale in the last 2 weeks? The verde metallico one, the TdF blue one currently on eBay.....seems like they come in threes!
I asked the seller (a dealer). They have no service history and the rear suspension is "spongy." The suspension doesn't overly concern me, but the lack of service history is an indication that it was not serviced in recent years. Frightening prospect, despite the low miles. Still, intriguing. I think the price is a bit high, given the lack of service records, but not completely out of line. Six-speed, v12 ferraris are rare, special, and not cheap....especially this pretty.
The Verde Mugello green 456 manual is back for sale on eBay. Has anyone talked to the seller about service history? Current: Ferrari 456 | eBay Two weeks ago: Ferrari 456 GT | eBay
Good to now that my 456 verde mugello/tan - manual is 1 of 11 as well... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ain't that a kick in the head.... Car was for sale for about 48 hours.... lots of calls. A father and son team, posing as collectors called. Even emailed me photos of their Ferrari "collection in the Hamptons." Put down a deposit and wired the money the next day and had the car picked up in a covered carrier the day after that. They had me assign the title to Luxsport (the current seller) who was supposedly a college friend of the son and he would handle the paperwork.... Car is now in Luxsport's inventory for $90K.... Also floors me that they used my long-winded ad copy, word for word, in their ad... I mean word for word... took their own photos though and I must admit they're pretty good. I wish them well.... just don't understand the elaborate ruse. Regards.... Mark (former owner)....sob, sob...
Mark Comiserations.. I sold a car recently ... one phone call ... now 12 months down the track one sold for twice what I sold it for... sob. I wont be selling my 456M any time soon.
The 550 market seems to have sailed well above $120k. So basically here is the last chance to own a 12 cylinder gated Ferrari for under $100k. I'd say that's not a bad price.
Germany lists on mobile.de only 4 nos 456, all 456GTA. Lowest 45.000 Euro ($50,000), then 2 for 50.000 Euro ($55,000) and one for 60.000 Euro ($66,000). This is the least number advertised I saw in the past 12 month. No gated one online.
Aussie market all 456s are RHD and over 100KAUD, GT and GTA, Ms more 140 for a MGTA but there are very few M Manuals here topped of with 34/35RHD Manuals known world wide.
