How come these cars never make it to any Chicago event? I saw the F40 at Road America once..but the F50, never!

I snapped a quick cell phone shot of that yellow F40 at Road America cruising through the infield a couple of years ago. Only yellow F40 I've seen.

Are they both owned by the same guy, and do they both live in Machesney Park?

Sorry I didn't give everyone a heads up on this. Eleventh year for our little Rockfod show. New venue this year with some of the best cars we have ever had.

Besides the Ferraris, we had 8 Indy Cars Celebrating 100 years of the Indy 500. A 1910 Wescott that raced in the first 500 in 1911 to the 2011 Danica Patrick GoDaddy Oval car she will run In May.

The F40 and 355 are Motion Products Cars. The F50 is owned by a Midwest collector.
We usually have 2 or 3 Vintage and modern F cars but always hard to find guys willing to give us the whole weekend.

Next year I promise to post dates and preview what is coming. I will post some photos later of this years show if anyone is interested.

    Best,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Please post more pictures. Is the F50 based in IL or WI? Could you have the owner join Fchat?

    Thanks

    Amenasce,
The owner of the F50 does not want to be identified. The F40 is owned by Motion Products as is the Ford GTX. They are currently liscensed by Ford to do the modifications to Ford GT's converting them into GTX1. Very cool car by the way.

A few pictures from the show.

Was that GTX1 converted by them? Did MPI take over the license from Genaddi?

It is my understanding that MPI took over the license, all tooling, parts and unfinished cars. They finished the cars and re-engineered a few things. I have seen 5 finished cars at MPI. I am unsure how many are customer cars. At least one (and possibly more) are currently for sale.
