Over the summer in LA I saw a Yellow F50 with black seats, however I couldnt tell you wether or not the inserts were red. Chances are decent however?

 

I think the Swap Shop F50 has black seats with red inserts...Saw it March of 05 I think...

I've seen the Enzo pictures, but does "Mr. SwapShop" put that on all of his cars? What other cars is it on?

 

Yep--took that. When I stopped by the "Swap Shop" back in 2005, he had a Carrera GT, Enzo, F50, 355 spider, 360 spider, 512BB spider, 550 spider, TR from Miami Vice, and a 275 GTB Competizione Speciale---Inside. Outside was a SL65, Cayenne Turbo, Z06 and CL600.

I have seen a yellow F50 at ferrari of washington, and I am pretty sure it had yellow inserts, but i might be wrong, it did not have red though for sure...

 

360C knows more of this than i do, but i'm pretty sure the yellow F50 with red inserts is a repaint. Not totally 100% positive, but yellow F50's only came with black inserts.
Anyone else?

 

the headlights clusters need to be yellow ! Why was Ferrari so cheap on that ?

I've never seen an F50 in person, much less a yellow one. I'd probably pass out. The Enzo didn't strike me the way the F50 more than likely will....

 

Man I read all the time that people hate how newer Ferrari’s look Japanese influenced or even that the Enzo was designed by a Japanese designer.

IMO the F50 especially the first and last picture above look like some car from some weird Japanese amime cartoon.

But yet people love it, i don't get it...

 

If I remember correctly, the first F50 sold in the US was by Risi in Houston. It was also lightly damaged in shipping during transport from New Jersey by not being secured correctly. The car was on its way to a photo shoot at Texas World Speedway & was rushed through a body shop for repairs. From what I understand the paint was still drying when it arrived at the track.

 

That car was originally rosso barchetta. Thats not an originally yellow car

Well there are two photos of Paul Frame's F50 on this page taken shortly after it's arrival in the USA. You can clearly see it had red seat inserts in the first shot:

That car there has a stereo in it. It would be useless though because of the noise from the engine.
So far i stand corrected on the red inserts (on US cars only?) Maybe 360C can chime in here?

 

I know where it was one rainy night a few years back.....
