Yet another computer question....

    Now before everyone tells me to contact my service provider or the manufacturer for tech assistance I have done this already and yes it went as expected.....a huge PITA with no cure or progress.

    So here is the jist, I do not have the option of posting a picture (attachment) on my laptop (Inspiron 3721 with W/8). I do not have this issue with my desktop which is also a Dell product running W8 (by the way I despise W8). Am I missing something regarding forum options or do I need to call HELL (DELL) again?

    This is not a huge issue just very frustrating.

    You'll probably get a quicker response in silver.

    I have no answer, but have you tried a different browser?

    It's not a computer problem, it's a browser/vBulletin problem. Calling Dell won't help.

    I'm having the problem with IE only, and it started a few weeks ago.

    Replying to a post brings up a security request to "Show all content". Not acting within a few seconds then the request disappears. What's "not shown" is the Manage Attachments button.

    Hitting a browser refresh gives another opportunity to show all content, thereby enabling attachment uploads.

    However, the refresh deletes whatever you typed in the message box. So, do a copy before the refresh and paste afterwards.

    Or... use a different browser.

    That "Only secure content is displayed" pop-up is driving me loco!!
