spotted at Auto Gallery...the rare GT2R.

    not a GT2, or a GT2RS... But a GT2R.

all you have to do is scrape off one letter and voila, a whole new model! :p

This is fantastic. How much does it cost to have the letter 'S' scraped off?

I dunno, but there was also a "paint to sample" GT3 ($5500 option) that as far as I could tell was just plain ol' flat black.

I guess there's some weight savings involved.

How much does an 'S' weigh?

If you're so concerned with the extra micro-grams of the "S" you need the GT2R Lightweight Special Edition. Its the same car as the GT2R but for an extra $15K they leave it unpainted.

For an extra $20,000, you can have a 911 GTR! Finally, another GTR model to go with the Nissan in the garage. :D

For just $10,000 more, you can even shave the Porsche badge off. The 911 Mystery Special Edition. Now that is the ultimate 911. :D
