One has to wonder what the rest of the car looked like
"The car has it's original books and a service manuel." WTF is a service manuel? .....a Spanish mechanic???? <throwing up>
Let's be honest here - all of the custom crap on this car is purely cosmetic. I don't see much here, other than the dash/interior work (and possibly suspension mods to get the car high enough to accomodate 19" wheels), that I couldn't put back to original spec all by myself. Seriously. I don't see any coachwork/engine mods besides some trim paint where it shouldn't be. A couple of weekends digging in the toolbox should put this car back to near-stock. A straight frame, a rust-free body, and a strong-running and serviced drivetrain are still positive selling points. Look on the bright side - somebody has been under the car recently and serviced the suspension within the past ten years - how many 308s out there have NOT had any attention there? Lots......
TV's in the doors.....bloody hell. I don't have kids, but I understand the concept of TV's for rear seaters. Not in the front though. Not in an F-car.
I don't know about you guys, but i'm gonna get myself a pair of these handles! Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL Loved that! I'm feeling a little ashamed because in the interior pic of the first posted pimped 308 it looks like an Oregon license plate tossed behind the seats. I just clicked on the Ebay link and was surprised to see the car is still at auction and has 12 bids. Hey, if enough of us chip in, we could buy it and put the poor thing to rest. Ferraris deserve better than that, the poor thing.
I saw that too, but the colors ALSO look like a colorado license plate (Green / White or White / Green depending on the year of issue). Either way, its strange, as says it originated out of OK, but has a current tag from TX and has a previous tag clearly seen out of OR or CO. James in Denver
