The NJ Historic tag is appropriate and certainly in keeping with the theme of the car. I guess if you close one eye and tilt your head slightly there is some resemblence to a Ferrari, or maybe it's just the red paint? For some reason it reminds me of a Dr. Suess book I used to read to my kids?
If a GT4 were a porn star, that's what it would look like. The owner is also guilty of excessive ponies on the rear end.
As someone who is not a big fan of the GT4 (hope not to offend those that are), I don't think it's all that bad. With the exception of the extra prancing horse on the engine engine cover, I like the rear view. I also think it would look better if the chrome trim were red.
I think I am the resident Jalopnik reader.... This car was featured on their blog a few months back on their daily Nice Price or Crack Pipe section where people chime in on if they would buy. I think this is hideous but to each their own. I'm sure I have a couple visual mods in mind that might make the f-crowd squirm in their seats. http://jalopnik.com/5832985/for-44000-is-this-308-better-red-than-dead
It could be worse... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1962-Ferrari-250GTE-Very-low-Reserve-Chevy-Motor-Original-Ferrari-/220931335295?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item337088a47f Image Unavailable, Please Login
car in new jersey.."no rust" .....yeah, i'll bet. btw... the slight, minor modifications will not really offend a gt4 owner i'm sure. "only a flesh wound"
Shame because it looks like a pretty clean GT4 under all that 'glass. I wonder if it could be removed...
