Finally guys its stopped raining and freezing in the good old UK. The sun is shinning, we have dry roads and 15 degrees on the scale. A day away from work and a black on black CCB F430 F1 purchased last November to play with!! I'm heading off for the Lake District - one very very happy man!!!!
Don't worry -- knowing English weather it'll probably be snowing by the time he reaches the Lake District. The old English saying -- If you don't like our weather just wait a while. Alan
Man, I polished mine up last night for a nice Friday run into work and woke up to pouring rain. Rather disappointing I must say..and with hurricane force winds forecast for the weekend I am a little sad. Enjoy!
English Rebel you know our tiny island so well. Today's events: remove car from garage and wash/dry - so far so good the sun is shinning! Load " the blonde" and off we go - twenty miles it gets darker and darker - fog - light rain. I turn back - game over!!! :-( Currently - car safely tucked away - with what feels like a force 9 hurricane blowing outside. None of which was on the weather forecast which was sunny and dry with light winds- ha! Seems like ill have to wait a little longer eh Treviso - still talking to a buddy of mine in Chicago things could be worse. Chin up guys summers round the corner... Regards from changeable Yorkshire.
Seriously, I hope that you can get your beast out for a spin. This has been a miserable winter for us in Michigan with no end in sight. I just can't help being a little jealous of those in better weather. Enjoy!
Look on the bright side: at least you got out, if even just for 40 miles! Like Robert said, we in Michigan have had the worst winter on record (or maybe we are 1 inch of snow away from breaking it), and we went a couple of months with temps below 32F (0C). Whenever we do get good weather then we have the buckling roads to contend with. I doubt any car will see Sport mode in 2014.
