    I think it would be totally cool if there was a listing on F-Chat where each type of Ferrari were listed, and the screen names of those who had such cars were listed under each type.

    So for example, if I wanted to maybe contact someone with a 328, I could see who the other 328 owners are under that heading.

    This could also be expanded to other car makes as well if you'd like.

    You can go to Member List and do an Advanced Search by Personal Ferrari.

    Ya, but when I do, I get as many people who don't have what I searched for as do. It's a lot more cumbersome.

    The other feature I would put in is, under the model where you'd list the usernames, list the username who posted most recently at the top, so the inactive users with that model would be at the bottom of the list.

    I'm not sure all the 85% understand that functionality basically exists today and would be 100% accurate if 100% of users filled out their profiles accurately. That's as close to this as we're going to get, except for a registry system.

    I was playing with the database. Interesting results.

    308 GT4 gives different search results than 308GT4. But if you try to use GT4 as a search string, it also pulls up owners that have a 365 GT4 listed in their profiles.

    Good idea. Personally, I'd like to be able to find fellow Vintage owners without searching.

    Maybe this proposed feature could be extended to Owner and Enthusiast/Prospective Owner categories for each model. That would make it much easier to direct questions to and share experience with the like-minded.

    I would imagine the best way to do it is in the profile section have an area where all the models are listed, and one need only "check the box" beside the one you own. No, nothing's 100% accurate, but like Scott said, imagine how easy it would be then to find like users, and active ones at that.

    I know it's easy to come up with ideas when one doesn't have to do the work, so if it's a lot of work I can understand resistance. But on it's own it does seem to have good merit.

    I'm on vacation till after the long weekend, so if you don't hear from me for a while it's not because I lost interest, OK?

    kind of off-topic but,
    i remember there used to be a list with all ferrari models with a range of selling prices for each...is that no longer available?
