I was speaking to Claire on the way home about Ferrari ownership and if it wasnt for the likes of F Chat, I think Ferrari ownership (esp the social side) could be a real downer. Esp after last nites performance. I really wasnt impressed at all.

I think me and you are alike - wanna go out and play and not sit about bloody taking notes about events !!!

LOL! Friday's would be good by me - but I know a lot of men are tied to their women for their weekly trolling at the local.

There's the Lloyds bar which is tidy. Lively on nights with the mid 20's people and early thirties. But at least there is some music in the background and somewhere decent to park the cars.

 

fridays is to busy down the xscape you wont be able to hear each other stick to a thursday plus i go out on fridays put your foot down with here lee its only been a few months

Mr fix-it and fix-it he does. I wouldn't dare tar all ferrari owners with that Brush as I feel the majority of the members on here are good people whose company I do enjoy.

However, on the night of the FOC this last week, I felt like they were in a different class - not so much snobbery but "Who are you" and "do you know what a Ferrari is" or "Do you have much experience of track driving" etc - felt like I was 12 again when he had no damn right to do so.

If that is what being a committee member does to him - almost raises his level of authority and allows him to have a joke at my expense when I dont know him, then he can shove his little fibre-glass 308 up his sphincter!

 

True true. Xscape was mad last nite. Would struggle for a few parking spaces together.

Though I am not surprised you they treated you like that. A few of them do seem to have a "we are better than you" attitude when all they have, is a bloody Ferrari! On the flip side, some of them are fine and good to have a drink with.

I find that people who go by appearances can be very sadly mistaken most of the time.

 

I cannot remember his name - I do not think he introduced himself formally. He was a biggish gent - his wife was a big lady. He seemed a little subdued and started having a very strange conversation about the sex life of younger people. At which point, Claire and I decided not to talk to him!

Tried telling me that a 348 Spider was no good for me, and that I should actually invest in a fibre-glass 308 JUST LIKE HIS

 

now i no why only 10 people turn up,maybe better in summer when we can sit outside and get pissed (stevf must be talking piss)

 

Clearly he is - its the only thing that comes naturally to him (as well as talking bullsh!t!!)
