Not sure, to me the space between the two banks of cams looks to be too far apart, if I remember correctly on the 308 it is more "V" shape????
Yes It IS a 308 engine, amazing!! see pics Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I dont think the radiator is too small because the engine have a fresh flow of cold air all around, but what is that hole in this pic, air intake maybe? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've always wondered if you could run with no belt covers. It would make checking belt condition very easy...
I dont get it, the cam belt is "wrong", it looks like a 348 one belt construction, but I think there is only the forward one of the two belt driving gears that is connected to the belt, I think the rear cams must have been regrounded for the opposite direction, or? FROM COMMENTS TO THE PICTURE IN THE LINK: "What you see is the vintage 1991 308 and yes I have followed only to be left as a faint BB in the mirror of this bike on a 600FZR. " There is no such then as a "vintage 91 308". I'm guessing 348 engine???? Who is this "George" referred to in the comments? "Since then George (builder)built the Dino and the V-12." James in Denver
I was thinking of no covers while in the engine bay of a Ferrari But yes, that would suck! But I have seen plenty of "chopper" bikes that use a drive belt. The belts are huge, like off an old supercharger... and NO covers on those things!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
It would suck even WORSE to get your pants caught in the engine bay of a Ferrari! (but sure would be funny to see!)

Not my thing. I'd rather see the engine back in a F-car. Though, you do have to respect the guy for the amount of work involved.
