I went to jagged hill and i was very impressed by their wines.
If your realy a wine buff you go to the annual wine show.

On the way to victor harbor there are some pretty good places to stop buy and have a little sip, barossa is THE center of wineries there is plenty of them to visit (too many in a day).

I fogot most of the winieries names (i dont use the cuspidor lol.)

But i will get my father to post up some good ones since he is a wine freak.

Clare valley is a good spot too!

At least you plan to go to Uni, that's a smart idea if you choose the right course (otherwise don't bother).

oh so you're another one who changed courses?

Here is how it went for me:

    1. Started studying one course.
    2. That contained too much maths for my liking so I changed courses after 1.5yrs.
    3. Finished that and now work in the field which the first course (the one I dropped out of) covered.

    work that out!

And I always thought that SC stood for senior counsel, looks like I was wrong and it stands for silly C*nt. :)

    :D

I wanted to become a QC, but since that's no longer possible, I'm not planning on becoming a barrister. 'SC' just doesn't have the same ring to it. Mind you, by the time I'd be eligible (hypothetically speaking), Lizzie would be long gone, so I would have had to make do with KC!

Dare I ask why the QC option is "no longer possible" ?

When one is now appointed to the senior Victorian Bar, they are referred to as 'SC' i.e. Senior Counsel, and not 'QC' i.e. Queens Counsel. Pre-existing QCs can still use 'QC', or they can, as Judge Felicity Hampel did prior to her appointment to the County Court, change over to SC.

When the Regent is a King (and not a Queen), members of the senior Bar (appointed during the King's reign) are known as 'KC' or Kings Counsel. So, even if the Brack gov't hadn't changed the nomenclature in keeping with Republican sentiment, if I were to be appointed to the senior Bar, I would have most likely become a KC rather than a QC. As a result of the change, I'd be appointed an SC.

The nomenclature may have changed, but that's it; the status between QC and SC is the same.

    Hope this clears it up!

Geeez, how crazy is all that. Do all QC's get a humour by-pass? The ones that I can remember meeting seem to all be "uptight and out of sight".

Now you've got to the crux of why the QC option is no longer possible for me: I'm just too funny! :D
