Well it finally happened to me, I was out in the 308 Saturday looking at houses and just as I pulled away from the model home the car died. My first thought was that I stalled it, then fear settled in when the engine would not re-start. As NASCAR driver Carl Edwards said when his engine failed, "I don't know what broke, but it must have been something important".

I had read here enough times and told by my own brother Rifeldriver, that the fuse blocks are the first thing any new owner should pitch. The first thing I noticed after pulling the electric cover is there is no ledged telling what is fused and where, so I gently turned each fuse in its holder. After I found the 3rd fuse a bit loose and tightened the clips to hold the fuse a bit more secure the engine started.

Yea, yea, time for a fuse block with real fuses, The point of the story is thanks guys, because of the camaraderie here I was able to repair the car on site and saved me a tow.

He raised the price, its $129 or $139 now, but still a good investment. I havent changed mine yet, but I ordered/received them in a timely manner. I'll put them in soon.
