    ...never to play with a BB gun because you will put someone's eye out?

    Well, just say my first patient where this has actually happened. Sad. 20 you year old kid, shot in the eye, needed to have it enucleated. Asked him if he was mad at his buddy, who shot him.

    Naw, we were just playin'. It's no ones fault. Thats about the most humane response I have ever heard. Some how, I know that if I ever shot someone in the eye...I would be sued to within a hair of bankruptcy...

    Anyone else have wisdom from momma, that only makes sense in hindsight when you are in your 30's?

    My favorite was when I was still in college...

    Momma told me all girls are whores and are going to try to get pregnant since they knew I was going to go to med school :).

    Well, no one got pregnant, but the process was fun :).

    Oh god yeah... "Enjoy your 20s, they are the best years of your life." Turned 30 about 6 months ago and already have a sinking feeling this was good advice...

    not a BB gun one....But, I've seen a person get a ruptured eyeball from paintball when some people were fooling around at the wrong time.
