I am attempting a project to repaint a 360 Modena Spider. It is a 1/18 Hotwheels. It is almost a perfect match for a friend's car, except, his isn't red, it is Tour de France Blue. And he has the Daytona seats, not the racing seats. So, I currently have it in a state of dissassemble, but can't quite figure out how to remove the seats from the base. I am afraid if I pry too hard, I'll break them. I have another Hotwheels 360 on hand to swap seats with, but if I can't get them out of the one, I am not going to mess with the other.

    Any experience with this?

    Please help.

    Thanks,

    svalline

    Hello,

I don't have any experience with customizing a 360 from hotwheels yet. I only customized a bburago yet. But it shouldn't be that hard to replace them. With the bburago i replaced them with the use of a small knife (pushing under the seat.)

    Reg,

I made a post about the $5 Barbie 1986 328 GTS I got off of Ebay, but nobody really read it, so I'll do a quick summary. It was red and missing most of the decals, so I painted it to nearly match my full-size 1986 328 GTS (Blu Medio, but the paint I had on my shelf was closer to Blu Sera.)

I took pictures of the emblems on my real car, put them into Photoshop, printed them on photo paper, then glue-sticked them on.

Here are the real car and the $5 Barbie 328 (which is really big...about 1/10th scale, I'd guess.)

Whats up guys. Great collections. I have a question. I just purchased a white 360 Whips and an F430 spyder red, for really good price. I want to re paint them, any suggestions as to what kind of paint to use. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
