your custom made ferrari models

I am pretty sure AutoArt is not based in Japan. They most likely sent you the wheels from their factory in this newfoundland called 'China', you heard of it before?

The goal was to think outside the box, I'm going for an even more drastic design shift, than ferri did when they went from the 512bb to the testerossa. i want the driver to feel like he is driving the modern equivelent of a 50's Formula one car, but with styling that says "Italian", but not nessesarily reminisent of a specific car.

The look of the body was actually inspired by my girlfriend's stilleto heeled shoe.

 

actually I'm more of a Foose fan, but I'll take the compliment.

 

Ferrari themed street rods are actually not new, really.

 

what do you guys use to paint the cars with? like a spray gun? id like to try a project like this and see what i can do.

 

That is what it was meant to be! I lack the visionary design skills needed to create an image like the one you made & applaud your effort. (I was think Foose as well but could not think of an italian name for "Chip", the Boyd name popped into my head)

 

i know this isn't a custom model, but i didn't wanna bring up an old thread from last year, i did find it in the search, but i didn't find my answer...i just got my hands on a bugatti veyron and i was curious to know how the back wing on the car raises? i saw some pics and i was looking at mine, and i got curious...heres a pic! number 3619, blue on black

Totally dig that orange Jager 355 challenge car.

 

I sent 2 cases of 1/18 HW F355 to a modelbuilder located in USA, and he repaint it for me in a good price, and he ship me back the Blue Mclaren LM, Blue and Purple F355 GTBs. There will be 2 more changed colors of F355 GTBs and 4x F355 Spyders.

Going slightly off-topic... does anyone know of a model manufacturer who makes a replica of the Maserati Birdcage 75? I've been hunting everywhere but I can't find anyone who lists it in their range.

Yea--That is the first time I have ever seen that color combo, but the bids got a little too rich for me-I can hopefully find one or have one custom made for cheaper than that-
