I know someone has done it before..........I remember reading about it like 20 years ago...anybody know what that was about....what car?

Would you consider be embalmed in carbon Fibre and placed in your Ferrari, 6 ft. under, after you leave this earth???

have to watch out for grave robbers!

Yes, but it entirely depends on who my two daughters marry... If they both bring home men who do not appreciate Ferraris, then the 330 GTC goes under with me, the Dino remains with my wife, and the sale of the 212 covers the estate duties.

A quick Google search came up with this:

In a "Deal or No Deal" sort of will, Sandra West tasked her brother-in-law, Sol West to bury her in her 1964 powder blue Ferrari 330 America. She was to be wearing a specific outfit, either an evening gown, designer gown, or lacy nightgown and the seat was to be reclined at a "comfortable" angle. The car was to be encased in wood, steel, and concrete (they say two truckloads). In order to make this happen, Sandra's will stated that Sol would get over $2,000,000 if the wishes were carried out. If not he would get $10,000. After going to court to try and get out of it, Sol was obliged to bury his sister in law in her car. The car and Mrs. West are in a 9 foot deep hole filled with car, concrete, etc. in Alamo Masonic Cemetery at San Antonio, Texas. The simple grave marker does not give a clue to what is underneath. Husband and wife are now side by side. Both died at very young ages. Ike West Jr., 1934-1968 Sandra West, 1939-1977 Masonic Cemetery Link

I prefer it go to someone who can appreciate it.

But given the traffic around here, my most likely cause of death might result in the car and I becoming inseparable. Literally. One lump.

I can just see the coroner's report: Cause of death: impact trauma and loss of oil.

That's just wrong. If you were a Lambo driver would you keep the gold chain on?

Much better to have your ashes stashed within the frame rails :) so you can still get a rush when she is taken out for a ride
