If you could pick any drivers, any chassis, any engine, any tire supplier, any team boss, any technical director, any livery, etc..., from any era of Formula 1 to create a Magical Dream Team, what would it look like and what would you call it?

I'll have a think about my own lineup and get back to you. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Drivers. Prime Michael Schumacher and Jim Clark (or Alonso as long as he as he behaves) Tazio Nuvolari. A team of drivers that would be my dream driver line up.

    chassis. Ferrari. ofc

tire supplier: tricky on though I think either Michelin or Bridgestone in slicks for both of course

technical director. Ross Brawn and Jean Todt.

livery: Marlboro or vedaforne both are awesome looking. In Ferrari red of course.

    engine supplier: Ferrari. Ofc

Designer of the car: Rory Bryne or Adrian Newey.

Engine era or choice of Engine: V12 in preferable in the maxuim amount liters the car can withstand. Maybe add a turbo or twin turbos.

Style of car: Have it like the Ferrari f1 2008 year car the f2008. I like the look of the 2008 cars absolute looks like spaceships.

Team name as the same : Scuderia Ferrari.

    Great driver Fangio .

Though another great driver is Taizo Nuvolari easily not a well known driver, but scorches everyone in different series (and yes f1 though before it had the wdc and wcc it still f1 regardless) when he was alive. I mean he beats out the Mercedes and Auto union in 1935 in a car that had over 100 hp difference on a track like the Nurburgring in 1935 in an Alfa Romeo yet he still beat out the Mercs and Auto Union on that track despite the difference. It's agurably the most amazing drive you can think of. Not to mention he also won on two wheels also. Oh and won Mila Melga and the Tagio Flaio a few times. I think I should add him on my dream team come to think of it.

    Ok, how about this? :D

Drivers: Prime Michael Schumacher and Prime Kimi Räikkönen, although Jenson Button was a close pick too. It seems a shame to have someone of Button's great caliber as a mere reserve driver, but at least that means I can have him too.

I am not dream with a team, I dream with a F1with more open rules like the 70's or 80's. Now the rules are so closed and so limited that it makes all cars have similar concepts. The Top teams spend huge amounts of money on very small pieces and details, imperceptible to most of the fans who make the differences with small teams.
A true open regulation would admit different types of developments and possibilities, as was the F1 of the 80's or 90's where there were B12, V12, V10, V8, V6 turbo, 4L turbo, 6-wheeler etc. Any idea was possible to develop, not today.
Only you have to look LMP1 where Porsche use a V4 2.0 turbo, Toyota use a V6 2.4 turbo and used a V8 3.7 in the past, Audi had a V6 4.0 TDI, Nissan made a few years ago a crazy project of a car with front engine and front-wheel drive with low drag and great aerodynamic tunnels, the project was a disaster but it was captivating and kept me stuck for a long time. Even Judd has a 5.5 V10 available and could be used if a private wants.
This does not happen in Formula 1, there is nothing different there, no crazy project that can catch your attention and I think a lot of people would love to have much more open rules.
And I do not agree that this would increase costs, regulations are becoming more restrictive and yet each time the budget is higher.
Larger budgets are spent, in the development of tiny details.
The teams will always spend the entire budget available no matter how limited the regulation.
