    I'm in a rushing motivation of getting a set of 355, 360, 550, 575, Enzo, F50, F40, 330, 250GT, GTO, Lusso, all in RED! :))
Now whats your fav model maker, as in which has more details, true color codes, etc? Where could I buy all of them online? Ewacars, exoticar?

Regardless of favorite maker, if you want all of those, in red, in 1:18 scale you would have to choose Mattel Hot Wheels. You may find the GTO by Burago or Jouef. The 330 is not made by Mattel (yet), so there may be a Jouef out there if one exists at all. I am not sure there is one, though. There are MANY opinions and discussions on this board regarding Mattel.

Ebay would be a good start. WalMart, Target or a toy store may yield most of them. I would go to the distributors after checking those, just because you may find them cheaper.

If you want them all at once, there are some online dealers who have a lot. Call them and ask if they have them in stock before ordering. Again there are MANY opinions and discussions on different retailers on this board, also.

I have all of the Mattel 1:18 cars in red, but I did not find them all in one place. Be patient, and you may save some money.

My favorite makers are Minichamps for F1 cars (all scales) and Kyosho for 1:18 road Ferraris. Kyosho may not be "the" best, but they are my favorite for price and quality.

Best of luck with your soon to be growing collection!

Your best bet for most of your Ferrari models is Ebay.

    Here are your brand choices:

F355 – UT (rare, expensive) or Hotwheels (getting harder to find)
    F360 – Hotwheels or Burago
F550 – UT (rare, expensive), Burago, or Hotwheels

Enzo – Hotwheels or BBR (Brand new and due out by the end of the year, Very expensive)
    F40 – Burago or Hotwheels
F50 - Burago, Maisto, or Hotwheels
330 – Jouef or Eagle’s Race (rare, can be expensive)
    250GT – Hotwheels, Jouef
GTO – Burago or Hotwheels (hard to find, can be expensive)

    Eric,
Thanks for the info. I did not know that Burago made so many of those.

In Vintage 1:43 Ferrari, I find that ArtModel does the best price/quality ratio. Their models are very well detailed and very well affordable (about $ 40 max.)

I wasn't thinking about smaller scales and I even have a few of them too. Oops. :)

One of my favorite 1/43 Ferraris that I have is probally my yellow 246 Dino GTS by Bang. This is a beautiful model and I don't think that I spent more than $20 for it. :)

A couple other manufactures that I have in my small 1/43 collection is Detail Cars and Best.

I do have one IXO model but that's not a Ferrari, its a Countach. The only Ferraris that IXO makes is a 250 TR and a 250 GT LM.

BBR and MR are extremely nice but they are at the high end of the pricing spectrum. Any of these models will cost you anywhere from $100 to $300+.

The Bang Dino looks perfect. Better than the Vitesse Dino (which I have).
Vitesse has the best 308. Better than the Best one.
Best has a terrific 330 GTC and 275 GTS.

GTE, you are right, ArtModel does the best job when its value/quality ratio. I checked out the Hotwheels , they really arent that good , I'll choose 1/18 scales, so i guess it ll be around $40 each, thanks a lot guys!

Someone ought to maintain a list of available models in 1:12, 1:18 and 1:43!

I've amassed a few Ferraris recently...

    >F355 – UT (rare, expensive) or Hotwheels (getting harder to find)

I got a UT 355GTB in red - I can still get silver HW ones but for the most part, Ebay is your best choice for these.

    >F360 – Hotwheels or Burago

K-Mart, they Spider is not so nice. The 360cs isn't too bad.

    >F550/575M – UT (rare, expensive), Burago, or Hotwheels

Get the HW one from K-Mart

    >Enzo – Hotwheels or BBR (Brand new and due out by the end of the year, Very expensive)

Get the HW one from K-Mart - I have the yellow one

    >F40 – Burago or Hotwheels

Get the HW one from K-Mart

    >F50 - Burago, Maisto, or Hotwheels

Get the HW one from K-Mart, black and silver are common

    >330 – Jouef or Eagle’s Race (rare, can be expensive)

Anson also make the 330P4 but it is in HIGH demand on Ebay...

    >250GT – Hotwheels, Jouef

Get the HW one from K-Mart - but it's burgundy and it looks bad IMO.

    >GTO – Burago or Hotwheels (hard to find, can be expensive)

The HW is very rare but nice and better than Burago

    >Lusso – Hotwheels

Get the HW one from K-Mart

I'd also add a few more as 'essential'...

365GTB/4 Daytona, 365/512 Boxer, 308/328GTB -> all Kyosho, all pretty expensive

The 348GTB is a Burago from 1992 or so.

The 288GTO - The HW is very rare but nice - I'm still getting mine.

The 456 from Burago or HW, rare now.

The 612 from HW, from HW at K-Mart.

Also you might want a Dino, maybe a 1964 250GTO...

I'm also 100% certain HW make a 275GTB as well.

I have to say that the UT 355s are my favourite model. Its quite well built and the cars overall look goood and most importantly in proportion.. I have 5 UT 355s and I would never consider selling any of them. I will post pics of them soon.

Yeah I love UT - I dunno how they did it but this little Hong Kong company somehow made some wonderfully accurate models very cheaply.

Their Porsche 993 still is the definitive model.

Their BMWs are spot on - I stil harbour some ill feeling towards Auto Art because they bought them out and then raise the price...

    Also I forgot the Testarossas...

HW make the original - long out of production.

I'm not sure if they made a 512TR.

They do make a 512M but I think this is one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen.
