    Hi guys,

My company did a quick ad campaign on Comcast recently (MTV, Discovery Channel, and a bunch of others). Plans are in the works for a Spring/Summer commercial shoot that will have a backdrop of a "car meet" type atmosphere. Would there be any interst of Ferrari owners around the Catonsville/Baltimore area to show up and get their Ferrari another accolade? The commercial will again air on Cable Channels in the Baltimore County/Howard County area. The ad will run anywhere between 100-300 times. We're hiring an actress for the narration, but we could always use more good looking cars.

Here is a link to our first ad:

That same actress will be featured in the next ad.

Lemme know if there is any interest. . .

In all honesty, the Z is somebody with the company, it was a basically a prop that the directors of the commercial wanted to use. But it does have some work done. MBQuart speakers up front, Orion 10" Sub in the back with a custom fiberglass enclosure painted to match the body of the car, the amps were installed in the glove box behind the passenger seat. The factory radio was swapped out for a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 (navigation, DVD player, built in hard drive, ipod kit, Bluetooth kit-for hands free cell phone use). It also had custom leather, shift boot, and the rear strut brace was covered to match the seats. All of this was ordered and installed by our company. The only modification done to the car not purchased through us was an intake.

I think its just fun to be on a commercial shoot, when we did it last time people were stopping and watching, honking as they were driving by, etc. The cameras, the lights, the directors, the actress, its all pretty fun. I could talk to the owner about getting money, but I don't know what he'd say, as you notice in the last commercial, the cars are the backdrop. Certainly there would be food, and possibly boos on the set. Plus its another credit to your car. I once had a BMW in the "BavAuto" sales brochure and it was a fun stupid little claim to fame for my car.

No, we mostly do dealer work. Infiniti, Cadillac, & many others. We've worked on Panoz, Lotus, etc. No Ferraris that I know of. In the 1970's I know we worked on the President's car. Secret Service stayed with the car the whole time and asked the installers what they were doing every turn of the screwdriver. The car wasn't getting any fancy audio work, there were some radio issues and we have always had onsite repair technicians, so they had us fix their problem as opposed to upgrading the car.

As far as the shoot, I'm not looking for people to do anything they're uncomfortable with. Consider it an invitation rather than a request for a favor. :)
