I saved every dime and bought a 70' Corvette for my 1st car in 73'. (I was 21 at the time- $3200) I kept the car for 23 years, the most reliable car I've ever owned and a blast to drive.

1980 VW Scirocco when I was 17 Aug 1985 (up until then I drove my parents cars WHEN one was available). I still drive it today. I will never get rid of it.

 

My first vehicle was a Big Wheel. Oh, the first vehicle I drove on the street? A 1973 Dodge Charger. I bought it with my own money at age 14 1/2. Just washed it for six months. Got my drivers permit on my 15th birthday, my drivers license on my 16th birthday. By age 14 I was already on my 5th dirt bike (Maico 400). Couldn't even touch the ground with my toes, but could wheelie in every gear, power slide, etc. I've been going extremely fast for a long time.

 

In 1985 when I was 17 I bought my first car: Fiat 127 Sport

Now I drive a 1985 911 Carrera and a Prius Let the good times roll...

Now I have a wrangler sahara and a honda accord.

 

1979 OLDS Cutlass

 

i kid you not ....... i paid 90 bicks for the car, it had a 3 speed on the column. i painted it with a brush and used interior paint..... what a POS....... but she ran good........

My first car was a 1965 El Camino with a 350hp 327, painted midnight Blue with heavy silver metallic. I used to drag race it at Firebird raceway in AZ.

 

Bought a 1976 Triumph Spitfire my last year in college. It was 17 years old at that point and a total mess, but it was cheap and very fun.

What kind of Rumbler is it ?

 

My first car was a 1967 Camaro, straight 6 with a 3speed bought it in 1988. When I graduated I bought a 327 and a 4speed and spent the summer rebuilding the motor and upgrading the car. I absolutely love that car and miss it.

 

1st was a 1988 gmc jimmy, one of the ugliest things around.

Now I drive a 1987 BMW 635csi which i will probably keep forever.

56 - I was 7 - got it when I was 15. It was a TANK -with a three speed.

 

My Hillman had 4 speed on the column. What a nightmare for a 1st car!
