This has quickly become one of my favortie sections on FerrariChat. I for one, love food as much as the rest of us. So here it is..

What is your perfect meal? Im talking drink, sides, dessert, the whole thing. It can be breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Can be from an elegant 5-star restaraunt, or McDonald's. Its all about your taste.

Mine: From BD's Mongolian BBQ. A bowl of spiral noodles and New York strip-steak with BBQ sauce. So good I get about 2 bowls. With the tortillas they put on the table, its just heaven. A Cherry Coke to wash it down. And a Hot-fudge brownie sunday to end it.

    Whats your perfect meal?

Tough question because it varies a lot, and I couldn't eat even my favourite meals more than a couple of days in a row. For pure pigging out though I have to say a full rack of Tony Roma's Original Babyback ribs. Maybe its the circumstances which make that my answer...first time I had it I had been in Europe for a month in the middle of the mad cow furore so hadn't had any decent red meat for a while. On my way back to Australia we stopped over in Singapore and I barely ate a thing all day, to the point I was getting hunger pains. We then walked from one side of Singapore to the other (literally) to get to Tony Roma's, where I had the most satisfying meal of my life.

Add to that there is only one of them in Australia (it's in Sydney) and I get cravings for it. It's something that if it were available all the time I wouldn't be going there much (as I am a very healthy person generally) but you can bet your bottom dollar when I am in the US in July I'll definitely hit Tony's!

Italian for dinner: an array of appetizers (bruschetta, Caesar salad, antipasto, calamari, etc) then entree of Osso Bucco with pancetta-braised broccoli rabe over creamy polenta. Head to Deustchland for dessert: a huge slice of German chocolate cake. Then the UK for after-dinner drinks: a cask-strength, unfiltered, Islay single-malt.

I'm a pretty simple guy, probably a sautee'd chicken breast, really creamy mashed potatoes with gravy, fresh green beans, glass of freshly squeesed orange juice, and for desert, maybe a root beer float. Yummmmm!

Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! :)

Whopper from Burger King, fries from Wendy's, Dr. Pepper from Jack in the Box. Nothing from McDonalds, I'd never touch that stuff. :D

But really; I'd have to go with a nice medium-well New York, some sweet red potatoes, and a tart cranberry juice.

I find grapefruit juice to be oh-so-bitter... but I can't say I don't find myself with a thirst for some every now and then, though. :p

    Varies by season.

Summer eating is best, hot days, cooking outdoors.

Fried chicken drumsticks with ice cold macaroni salad - fantastic, tall glass of iced tea with two pink packets. Make plenty, it's impossible to beat cold fried chicken drumsticks for lunch the next day.

The weekly burger....every week a different one. Thick cut onion, tomato, fresh ice cold lettuce, buttered and toasted buns. Pickles, relishes sometimes, always mayo, Heinz 57 (cold).

    The daily lunch sandwich...

My dear aunt has a big fishing boat and lives to fish, so weekly fresh halibut and salmon...made a million ways. Always with homemade tartar - amazing.

Fall is a great time to eat big. Cottage pies, pasta dishes, roast chicken.

Winter eating sucks...have to reel in the inner glutton otherwise I'd weigh 9000lbs if I kept my summer appetite. Salads, and the occasional giant pot of salmon chowder...
