I love my F car. And enjoy putting miles on it while making memories. In fact, in the ~16 months I have had the car I have taken my 2018 Lusso from ~3,000 miles on the odometer to now over 12,000 miles including a trip from TX to FL for the purchase.

So that begs the question, where in the US have you road-tripped your Ferrari? What tips do you have for people taking their first F-car road trip?

My pro tip: Use google earth/maps to check driveways and parking areas ahead of time. Street view lets you get on the ground ahead of time and see everything from potholes to if there is a security gate at your overnight location

I've road tripped my Maranello to a total of 46 States and 107,000+ miles on the "clock". Western States were destinations on multiple trips, longest was a 6k+ mile loop. I liked to visit National parks, so the F-car saw many of the sights in Utah, AZ, CA, WY, MT, etc., etc.

I’m assuming you haven’t got to AK or HI, so what states do you have left?

Tom Cotter (“The Barnfind Hunter”) has an original 289 Cobra he got to all 48 contiguous states, always thought that was a great goal.

Furthest I’ve road-tripped the 355 has been several 500-mile trips…more than some, I guess, but nothing noteworthy. Hoping to drive it to Road America for next years FCA Annual, from NH that would be a good road trip.

AK, HI, and for some reason Washington, (now I remember, GF/Wife was with me on AR, Yosemite, SF, PCH, planning on Canadian border, she was done by mid- Oregon) and somehow missed VT, even though multiple trips to East Coast, MA, NH, ME.

I think this was that trip. We stopped at Ferrari of Silicon Valley for CEL(?) and the front desk person told Alison to leave the dealership when she went into the lounge for a coffee. Al wasn't so smilie after that encounter.

Ah too bad the 2 you need aren’t close together, they could hardly be more farther apart. But ow you have an excuse for more road trips :)

I’m normally not the kind of person to complain, but I’d have said something to the manager of FSV about that. Sucks that happened.

Lusso looks like a perfect F-Car for long multi-day/week road trips. Plenty of room, power and comfort for 600-800 mile a day drives to get to the interesting way-points or driving roads. Maranello gets a little tight with a Girl on-board.

The very same...IMO, excellent service dept. Would stop in LV on the way to West coast or for a pit stop traveling South West. Would stay at the Wynn for a few days and get oil change and a detail. Left her there for one Winter for major, belts. engine mounts, etc. They kept her in the downstairs display floor until I flew out and picked her up in the Spring.

Florida road trip coming for me and my wife in August, but nothing like what you’ve done across many States. Miami-Orlando-Tampa-Sanibel Island-Naples-Miami.

Surprising it’s been almost three years already since we collected our 2020 812 SF from Ferrari of San Francisco. Promptly stoped for a fantastic lunch on the water in Sausalito, drove across the Golden gate and down the coast to Monterey to spend the night. Continued on to Santa Barbara for a couple more nights then down mostly the Coast to our home in San Diego. She’s been there since having a couple tours across the mountains to Palm Springs.
Such an incredible car to spend time traveling.
Plenty of space for the wife’s bags.
The 12 sings a beautiful song.
Hope to continue creating great Ferrari memories.

After the FCA Annual Experience in Daytona we continued on until we could go no further. :)

We also drove it to the Scottsdale Annual Experience and the following year to the Broadmoor event in Colorado. There were multiple trips to Florida and eastern Canada, and one to North Carolina.

We use the 6 piece Sessanta luggage on all our trips (Scottsdale pictured). I have an OTO, but the Sessanta luggage matches my interior leather.
