    Great opportunity for a young guy to get into competitive driving. We operate a youth autocross club in Ft. Collins and have an opening for an additional driver. The club races BMW 318ti's and E36 M3's in SCCA autocross. In the future we will move up to time trials and perhaps road racing. There is no cost to the participants. We provide the cars, entry fees - everything.

    Interested youths must be 17-19 yrs old and live in the Ft. Collins area. And they must have a passion for cars and driving. PM me if you know of someone who would like to learn more about our program.

    Wow, if something like this was around a few years ago I would have been all over it! That sounds like an amazing opportunity. I'm only 21...can I pretend to be 19? :)

    It is a unique opportunity. We have a 10,000 ft shop where the guys work on the cars and practice their driving on Virtual GT simulators. Many exciting things happening in the future. Our four members are in the 17-19 yr old age group. We want to stick with that.

    Thanks much. I was not getting much response from ads and postings done at car clubs and forums. So I placed some ads in local college newspapers and am getting a good number of interested candidates. Now to sort through them and find some future race driver stars.

    Darn....my son John would love this, but he is 19 and a sophomore at Marquette in Milwaukee.

    If there is any opportunity to participate during the summer -- let me know.

    My daughter Dana, 17, is somewhat into cars/driving (in fact we are going karting this weekend), but she has only limited experience on stick shift.... plus, she is "not a guy".

    Great initiative, though. Good luck with it.
