I don't care what Vicky's voice is saying, she's always made me think we've got something sneaky going on... :D

    Bumper Sticker Idea:

----------------"I know, I drove it..." - Felipe Massa. He drove it. ----------------------

Cool videos, but it makes me think of the Modena when it came out, and how ever sponsor used it to kiss Ferrari's ---.

Interesting question. I had the same doubt, but don't wanna say something silly. Scud?

Hi, thanks for posting the link to my video :)
I have to say, that's an amazing car, the gearbox is very... very fast, the noise is astonishing, but it's still a " soft " Ferrari, i'm not totally satisfied about the 458, i would rather take a 430 Scuderia.. can't wait to see the 458 Scuderia.
We reached a top speed of 276km/h with the manettino in " CT ", the car was just 1 day old, i think that it could run a little bit faster.

First of all, thanks for another great video Marco :)

Secondly, did you prefer the "feel" of gear-changes of the Scuderia's F1 gearbox (with that small "kick" on every upshift) or of the 458's new double clutch gearbox?

Personally, I quite like that "kick" on the upshifts typical of F1 transmissions, which is quite small on the later versions. I'm just curious to know what you think of that.

I prefere the feel of the gear-changes of the Scuderia, i like it because it has a more sport change of gear, it's more aggressive too, the one of the 458 is too soft, i had more fun on the track with the Scuderia.

Aspetta, dopo che ho scritto tutto ciò in inglese ho visto il tuo profilo e mi è sorto il dubbio, ma non sei italiano?

Thank you for your impressions. Having briefly driven the California recently, I felt the same regarding the DCT. As great as it was, I somewhat missed that kick during the gearchanges of the F1. I'm sure that I'm in the minority though.

Si, sono Italiano...ma sembrava giusto scriverti in inglese in modo da rendere la mia domanda comprensibile agli altri :)

I agree with you about the DCT. Ferrari said the DCT in the 458 would be more exciting than the DCT in the California but maybe Ferrari didn't change it enough. I'm not letting go of my Scuderia until I have driven the 458. The 458 Scuderia may be the one to wait for.

On the other hand, am I wrong to say clutch wear is expected to be lower?

Congrats for the video, Marco! Mi è piaciuto molto! ;)

Yes, the DCT's two clutches are supposed to last for the life of the car.

He commented that he preferred the Scuderia over the 458. I don't know about the others.
