    Chelle,
I don't like replica Ferraris, and did not say I did not like him. If he doesn't like my comments, so be it. I try not to hold grudges, and try to be friendly to all...

He is welcome to this site, and I would be happy to talk Ferraris with him anytime.....just not replicas. ;)

I agree Davehanda, not really my cup of tea either, BUT F-Chat drug Mr. Collector ( Welcome to F-Chat, sir ) on line, not the other way around. I'm big on the skinned knuckes thing. Just try a 'frame-off' restortation sometime if your looking to increase your vocabolary. I wouldn't even try a cross breed build-up. But the question is not 'where is Collector's LOVE, but where's ours'. I might even say ( here it comes...) that perhaps, just perhaps, he has even more of the L word for our beloved marquee then some of the dip-rods (there's on of those words) in town who just drive hot laps back and forth and really don't know the difference between Michael S. and Michael J. As they say down south, ( way, down south), - 'Good on ya', Mr. Collector, nice job! I sure don't see all this nastiness tossed out for the 1 or 2 Daytona- 'vettes always listed under 'ferrari' on ebay; what, too close to your sister? peace

I think this guy is actually alot smarter than we are.

    Think about it:

    no valve guide issues
    no cracked headers
    no engine-out service bills
    no exotic car problems

    :)

    Sheesh!

First I was told it was a 'conversion', now I am told it is a 'replica'.

How on earth can a Fiero be converted into a Ferrari. Didn't we have fellows in the middle ages try and convert metals like copper and lead into gold as well? Fiero -> Ferrari - Lead -> Gold. Easy as pie.

That's it! He's not a car lover; he's an alchemist!

I love it. All six cylinders.

Even now they still have a formula car series that uses a Pinto 2000. It's one hell of an engine.

Isn't imitation the best form of flattery? There are a number of bids to boot. Makes me feel really lucky that some people go to great lengths to be thought of as an owner.

I'd drive a rebodied (250GTE donor) 250GT SWB, 250 GTO or Spider California with pride. Sorry Wayne...

I agree with you. I'm certain that in my lifetime I will never drive a 250 GTO, so what you're suggesting is the next best thing. Actually I'm looking tremendously forward to my first time behind the wheel of Chelle's GTO replica.
