Has anyone tried the Zymol Creame wax, or Zymol Ital on a 458 giallo modena? The Creame is formulated specifically for light color cars and the Ital is for Italian soft paint. Appreciate any feedback on your actual experience.

No Tobe, I always use Angelwax. Over here in EU they do most Lafs at the oem dealers :)

I have not used either, but I was told that in any case you can only use synthetic wax on basically any car that has the protective coating as otherwise the coating will yellow.

Not sure if that helps or not.

I had 2 giallo modena cars (360 and 430) and now I have had 2 rosso cross cars (Italia and now spider). I have used the Griot's Garage Premium Carnauba paste wax exclusively on both colors. It goes on/off easier and costs way less than the Zymol products. The car gets that really wet look which I love. Color of car did not change depth of gloss. If you are using the car in all types of weather than the Griot's Liquid Gloss Poly Wax gives a longer protection life. I am sure there are other brands that are just as good.
I found the Zymol products to not last any longer and be much harder to work with.

Just ordered the Poly Wax product from Amazon. Will give it a try and report back here. I've always been using various brands of Carnauba wax and results are generally good but none lasts more than 2 weeks or so. The Griot Poly Wax I hope may be a good alternative.

This is turning into a comparison between wax (Zymol Creame or Ital) and synthetic products (Griot's Poly Wax). In my experience on modern Ferraris, each has pros and cons. Synthetic waxes and sealants are (a) easier to apply (but will not bond properly to wax - you need to remove any existing wax on the car before applying), (b) produce a terrific high gloss wet look, (c) produce a super smooth (but somewhat plastic/synthetic) surface feel, and (d) last longer. On the other hand, wax produces a deeper shine and a more natural surface feel. IMO, the best look is produced by applying glaze and then wax, but it is a lot more work.

On my Ferrari, I use Zymol Ital. On my Cayenne Turbo daily driver (which is black), I use Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection (a sealant). By the way, the Blackfire product works extremely well on painted wheels and makes them much easier to keep clean.

Are you happy with the Zymol Ital results on your Ferrari? And the paint color is?

I've used Zymol Ital on a Silverstone 458 Italia and an Argento 488 GTB, both with excellent results. I've also used it on a black Porsche. The shine and feel are great, and there is no apparent coloration. Also, Zymol Ital is probably the easiest wax to apply (but somewhat more work than a sealant). The downside to Zymol is that it simply doesn't last very long (2-3 weeks), particularly in the areas of the car that are affected by engine or radiator heat.

I just finished using Griot's Poly Wax I followed all the proper washing and waxing instructions and paint preparations using Griot's Paint Prep. The results are very good and exceeds my expectation. This is the first time I've used a synthetic wax. The wet glossy look is impressive even on a light color paint (giallo modena). The wax is quite easy to work with.

Let's see how long this initial coat will last.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
