Tony--check that thread which Barney rec'd. It may be the wires connections inside of the plastic stalk end or a broken piece of plastic from the end itself. I experienced a similar problem with mine as well and it turned out to be that the wires disconnected at the end of the shaft. I merely resoldered them and everything was back in order. However, other owners have noted that the plastic knob itself has been the culprit. Verell B--on the rec'd thread has been remanufacturing them for a reasonble price. |

Hi Tony, Look in the archives (use the "search" tool). There is a lot of discussion on this. It is likely a bad ground connection or a fuse box/relay problem. The stalks are almost impossible to find but someone was looking into making them. |

of which I have none, but high beams are working, think its not a fuse or relay problem, is it possible I have a broken switch? The stalk raises the lifting motor but high beams do not stay lit unless I "hold" it in aft position. In other words, I can flick the high beams but not keep them on. Any experience in changing this part would be appreciated. Regards all. |
